The purpose of the project was to design and create an autonomous and self-acting robot that can move to and turn off a red infrared emitting beacon, and then move to and later capture the green infrared emitting beacon before moving out of the arena. The most effective design is a lightweight robot, between 2-2.25 kg, that contains accurate sensors and working motor control. All these tasks were performed using programming code that would ideally allow the robot to perform the tasks effectively. We used a VEX controler to input our code, which was writen in C++.
